Nice to meet you here and share with you our traditional festival " Mid-Autumn Festival".The Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.It is a time for family members and loved ones to congregate and enjoy the full moon.
And there is a interesting custom in Fujian Province to celebrate the festival. Moon cake gambling, When you walking along streets in the tiny road during this time,you may will hear the pleasant silvery sound of the dice rolling.Cheers of winning or loss are everywhere.The gambling game has six ranks of awards,which are names as the winners in ancient imperial examinations
From the lowest to the highest,the titles of the six ranks are Xiucai （who passed the examination at county level），Juren（a successful candidate at the provincial level），Jinshi （a successful candidate in the highest imperial examination），Tanhua，Bangyan and Zhuangyuan（respectively the number three to number one winners in the imperial examination at the presence of the emperor）
