FAQ
1.What is the light condition of zelkova parvifolia?
Because the zelkova prefers the sun, it should not be placed in a dark place for a long time, otherwise the phenomenon of falling leaves will easily occur. We usually need to keep it in a well-lit and ventilated place for maintenance. However, the scorching sun is too fierce in summer, and appropriate shading measures should be taken.
2.How to ferlize the zelkova parvifolia?
Summer and autumn is the period of vigorous growth of zelkova. In order to meet its growth needs, we should appropriately add nutrients to it, mainly supplementing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements. We can keep topping fertilizer once a month, and it is recommended to use fermented and fully decomposed cake fertilizer water. And fertilization should be carried out along the edge of the inner wall of the pot, and watering should be done immediately after fertilization.
3.What temperature is suitable for the growth of zelkova parvifolia?
Beech trees are relatively heat-resistant but not cold-resistant, especially in cold winters. In order to ensure that the plants can survive the winter smoothly, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 5 °C. If the outdoor environment is harsh in winter, it is recommended to keep it indoors in a sunny and warm place to avoid frostbite.
