Why do Ficus have aerial roots?
Aerial roots should be left on ficus and other spreading trees that normally develop them. As branches grow longer aerial roots emerge from the branch and grow to the soil. This helps hold the branch on the tree. They also act to hold the tree firm in the soil.

FAQ
Since the plants have been in the freezer container for a long time, the container environment is very dark and the temperature is low,
when you receive the plants in winter, you should put them in greenhouse. When you receive the plants in summer, you should put them in shade net.
If you would like to improve the survival rate of plants, please follow five points as below:
Firstly, you should water the plants timely when you receive them, the head of the plants need to be watered thoroughly. You should discharge the water in time if there is puddles.
Secondly, trim yellow and heart leaves to reduce leaf evaporation.
Thirdly, the whole plants should be sprayed with medicine to avoid some plant disease.
Fourthly, you should not fertilize in a short time because it will cause burning roots. You can fertilize until it grows new roots.
Fifthly, you need to keep the plants in ventilation condition, which will reduce the humidity of the air, to inhibit the growth and reproduction of pathogenic bacteria, and reduce disease occurrence.
